Zoë Gemelli
She/Her
Equal parts writer and photographer, Zoë has a unique understanding of what photographers and creative entrepreneurs need to convey with blogs, websites, and social media posts. She worked in the publishing industry in New York City, Boston, and Toronto, and in marketing and communications for virtual clients around the globe. It’s been a dream to combine her two worlds; telling stories with words and visuals.
In January 2020, she hosted a roundtable on writing for photographers at the Friends of Fearless Conference in Austin, Texas. After jumping over a moment of imposter syndrome, it became clear that most photographers struggle with writing when many of them were willing to throw money at her to blog for them. That’s when Zoë the Writing Coach was born.
She’s done workshops and talks for Business as an Adventure, Image Salon, Tomayia Colvin’s The Virtual Photo Cookout, and Naked Marketing. She will be teaching at the Quietly Loud Online Photography Workshop and the upcoming True North Photography Online Workshop.
She is currently based in Toronto, Canada. Wanderlust is her compass. Coffee is life. Food is love. And her one-eyed pug Mojo is her shadow.
